Our Story

NUNYUH the Brand was started after hearing the song "Behind Blue Eyes" by the 60's & 70's Rock Band "The Who".  The bands lead guitarist, was practicing the very first monolithic philosophy, dating back to the 6th Century BCE , which has Three main core beliefs Good Thoughts, Good Words & Good Deeds which is what the winged symbol represents in our Logo.  The Winged Logo on Mazda cars also came from this monolithic philosophy. Spreading this Positive Message to bring much needed Peace & Unity to the World is what NUNYUH is truly about!  

The center of our Logo consists of a Triangle and the Pineal Gland.  The number 3 (total sides on a triangle) is known as a "Perfect Number" and is represented in a Positive Meaning across various Religions, Cultures and in Nature itself.  An upward pointing Triangle shows masculine energies with a downward Triangle shows feminine energies while remaining in balance, harmony and equilibrium with the Universe.

The Pineal Gland, which resembles a Pine Cone, is located behind the Third cerebral ventricle in the brain directly in the middle of the two cerebral hemispheres (the center of your brain).  It controls your natural sleep-wake cycle, hormonal balance, and overall health (Circadian Rhythm) by releasing melatonin when the Sun sets to fall asleep naturally.  In the morning when the Sun rises it stops production of melatonin to signal your body that it's time to wake up naturally.  Blue Lights (click link and scroll down to Effects on Nonvisual Systems) from TV, Laptops, Mobile Phones, LED Lights act like the sun and hinder your Pineal Gland from releasing melatonin at night which negatively affects your Circadian Rhythm.  The Pineal Gland, also sometimes referred to as the "Third Eye" is a super amazingly important gland and its effects on our Immune system, Bodies reaction to Stress, Mood, Sleep patterns, Hormone release, Appetite and Digestion, Body Temperature, Metabolism, Cognitive Functions and Overall Health.

NUNYUH is also slang for "None of your Business" and represents absolute and unconditional unity since everyone on this planet is born uniquely imperfect while all of our differences are NUNYUH, because we are all equal in the end.  It's also for those confident enough to say “NUNYUH" when asked what brand they are wearing along with the courage to spread the Positive Message attached to our products.
